2004-2005
Korigans were born on August 2004, thanks to Simon (keyboards), Christy (Bass & Vocals) and Miky (Drums). They were inspired by Finnish metal bands to create original Gothic Power Metal songs. The idea of the Korigans' name comes from British Celtic Mythology. The korrigans are underground inhabitants that during summer solstice come out from their holes to celebrate all night with music making fun of the humans.
In August the group begins the search for a singer and a guitarist; in September Francesca (vocals) joins the group.

In January 2005 Leo (Guitars) completes the group formation. The band begins to perform its first concerts, going from Mantova and province (Ariston Theatre and country fairs) to Como (Italy).
After a year, Francesca and Leo leave the band.

2006-2007
In January 2006 Ortensia (vocals) and Mome (Guitars) join Korigans and the group can finally make a new playlist. In March several concerts are performed between Mantova and Cremona (Italy). In April Korigans buy a new van which is used to transport the instruments. In August Korigans go to the wonderful beer fest in Vasto (CH - Italy). After a memorable concert, with an outstanding hospitality, Ortensia leaves the group at the end of Summer.
At the same time, while the search for a new singer goes on, in September Korigans begins recording the first self-made promo CD.

In the end of January 2007 Lu (Vocals) joins the band. Korigans can make a new playlist for 2007 concerts and finish recording of promo CD, "The Prophecy", finished at 19th of March. The concerts season begins again with live concerts touching also Brescia and Verona (Italy). "The Prophecy" receives many positive reviews. Korigans change their van and in August they come back to Vasto at "Agosto Carpinetano" fest.
In December the track "The Seventh Seal" enters the compilation "Lvceria in Fire Volume II" and it's singled out as one of the best tracks of the album by "metalbeta.it". At the end of 2007 Mome leave the band.

2008-2009-2010
In January 2008 a new guitarist named Andrew (Guitars) arrives. While the live concerts go on, "The Prophecy" receive other reviews, notably from the "Rock Hard", monthly magazine of Hard Rock & Heavy Metal, and wins "MetalBeta Top Demo 2008". In May the promo CD debuts in Canada, and is available at Freeson's Store. In June Korigans takes part at Band's Contest in Porto Mantovano (MN - Italy) reaching 3rd place. At the end of 2008 Lu leave the band.

After a short break, in March 2009 Francesca (Vocals) joins the band. Meanwhile, "The Seventh Seal" takes part in a radio programme on Radio Suono Ribelle. In June Korigans record an orchestral version of "The Seventh Seal" with Francesca's voice and Andrew's guitar. At the end of 2009, Andrew left the band and Korigans take a break

2011-2012
Korigans back on January 2011 with a new guitarist, Niko (Guitars). They begin recording the second promo CD and to prepare in rehearsal studio the new setlist for future live shows. On December 30, 2012 "Through the Mirror" is released, the CD contains five original songs composed by the band and the cover was created by Fabio Porfidia. In early 2013 the band prepares to return on the stage...
